Evaluation: Question 2

I have been particularly concerned when creating all aspects of this project to ensure there is clear continuity and synergy between each one and that they can be easily identified as apart of one project from colour scheme, down to using the same fonts throughout. I have used the same font (Mona Lisa Solid ITC TT), colour and photos for my digipak as I have used for my promotional advert/poster which unmistably links the two products and presents to an audience that they are clearly relating to the same project. The main image featured on my advert/poster and front cover of my digipak also appears in my music video as a very poignant moment to represent the two trying to face their issues and find the love they share.

My Actors
My two actors appear throughout my music video and also across my ancillary tasks. They are on the front cover of my digipak and the centre image on my advert/poster. The image I have used is a very poignant moment in my music video that symbolises a variety of messages e.g. reconcilliation, love, conflict, seeing eye to eye.

The Trees
The photo's of the trees that I have included on my advert/poster do appear in both my music video and the photo of the trees with the winter blue sky appears in my digipak as the picture that will be located behind the disk. I believe this was a subtle yet effective way to further link my products to my main task and extend the narrative that is portrayed throughout my music video, across my ancillary tasks.

The trees also represent aspects of Megan's (one of my actors) escape when the times are difficult within the relationship she shares with my male actor. I think people will make an instant connection with this as there are a variety of shots throughout the music video where we see Megan walking through fields or close to a stream surrounded by trees.

The Rose Motif

The rose is a motif that appears in my music video, digipak and promotional poster which is something I wanted to use to portray the subject of love and relationships, a running genre throughout. It appears on my poster and inside cover of my digipak in the form of falling petals. I believe this was an extremely successful way to synergise each part of the project (Music Video, Promotional Poster and Digipak).

I believe each product works well together as they all clearly and recognisably relate to one another and the digipak and promotional poster undoubtably draw focus to the main feature which is the music video. They clearly advertise the music video as they include photo's of the vocal duo who are seen throughout the music video as eachother's love interest. The music video song is the title track of the Album "Let It All Go".
